Who we are

Rassoul Samb comes from Senegal on the West African coast. Like his father and grandfather and great grandfathers back hundreds of years, Rassoul is a GRIOT. Similar to a Bard or Troubadour, his job is to keep alive the true history of the people. He also entertains at parties and receptions.  A master hand drummer and singer with more than three decades of experience, he serenades honorees, tells stories, and sings original poetry.  The focus is on you.  Celebrate all of life’s happy occasions with music.  Call or text (513)837-6795 to book your private event, complete with DJ services and a live band.

Rassoul teaches Bongo, Sabar, Talking Drum, and Kalimba the traditional way, using a verbal curriculum.  Private and group lessons.
